Please join us as we celebrate four classic one act plays from Russia and the US.

First,
Trifles, by Susan Glaspell, a story of murder and motive, as seen through the eyes of two very perceptive mid-Western women.

Then two short plays by
Anton Chekhov hilariously explore the unworkability of love and marriage. A Marriage Proposal and A Tragedian in Spite of Himself both show us how incompatible men and women really are, and how marriage and suffering must inevitably go hand in hand.

Finally,
The Still Alarm, by George S. Kaufman. A screwball comedy from 1930, proves that even a destructive hotel fire can't phase true gentlemen as they go about their business.

Starring (in alphabetical order):

Jean Cohen, Margaret Corrigan, Stephen Doherty, Jeff Gill, Dennis Govoni, Amanda Hayter, Bill Houldcroft, Jr.,

Jeff Phillips and Tom Sousa.
